As of November 7, 2025 – you may now drop-ship your Vevor Water Distiller to me and have the Airhead upgrade kit installed and tested before I ship it out to you. This service is only for the black or white basic distiller, not their deluxe 304 stainless steel models. I have no idea if the existing kits I have on-hand will fit their stainless steel models and I’m really not comfortable drilling on one of those, so the only version that I’m offering this service for is their basic units.
I decided to offer this as a service for those who absolutely do not have any desire to do any kind of electrical work whatsoever. Even though there’s actually more work and danger involved in replacing a sink faucet. I can’t possibly make things any easier, there’s 2 wires for power input, and 2 wires for power output. There’s nothing else that I can remove to simplify things any further. The best I can do is allow people to ship their appliances to me to set up.
This installation includes a complete real-world test distillation run, so you will likely receive your unit with moisture in the condenser smelling of brandy or gin. I do this to not only stress test the electronics, but to also confirm that the temperature sensor is reading accurately. Manufacturing variances can easily affect the accuracy of the temperature sensor, and the last thing you need is your still melting down because the boiler vessel ran dry totally undetected.
