Looking For The Right Person

I’m currently looking for somebody that I can contract with as a social media manager and creative director. As you may know, outside of my YouTube channel, I have zero social media presence. I also have a LinkedIn page, but I don’t think that really qualifies as social media. I once created a Facebook Business page, but I think that is pretty much worthless because there were only a couple dozen followers the last time I looked at it.

Anyway, I’m not a social media jockey, I don’t even use it for personal stuff because of the toxic nature of those kinds of apps/websites. I keep getting approached by social networking agencies, but I don’t have the time to learn the ropes of social media or the time to work on it. I know, they all say the same thing, “it only requires about 10 hours of your time per week”. Well, that’s 10 hours of free time that I simply don’t have, sorry.

At this time, between a full-time job with a software company and working on my own GitHub projects, I have no time to be a social media jockey – even if I knew the ropes. The YouTube video uploads are sparse because of this and because I honestly don’t know what kind of video content to produce. Hence, the need for a creative director. Then when you pile order fulfillment on top of things, I have even less spare availability to work with.

This person doesn’t need to already know brewing and distillation, but it would certainly be a plus. It’s not hard to learn and you can make that part as simple or complicated as you like. What I’m wanting the social media to do is approach this as an “edutainment” thing with humor which will naturally turn into product sales, which turns into more income for the person in this role, on top of any ad/sponsorship revenue that they can create.
